Recommend your co sleeper

Hi ladies, I am looking to buy a co sleeper that I can use in bed with us. My daughter is a week old and is not too fond of sleeping in her crib. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks Kiara

Re: Recommend your co sleeper

  • We have a mini Pack and Play and a Fisher Price Rock n Play.  I liked the RnP because DS spit up a couple of times flat on his back and would gag so we went to the RnP.  I LOVED IT!!!  it was bed height so I just had to look down and see him when he made a noise and I also could reach down to pat his belly or put the paci in his mouth.  We only used it for sleeping and put a recieving blanket behind the cover to make it a little softer (I have a fear of "flat head") so I try not to use it during the day also.   We just moved to the PnP last week as DS is getting a little bigger and I know he eventually needs to go into the crib.  I don't like it as much as the RnP but itis working well.  It is just a little higher so I have to actually raise myself to see LO.  GL.

  • Are you wanting the cosleeper that attaches to your bed or one that can go in bed with you. Cosleeping or bedsharing? We bedshare. I bought one from WalMart. I think it is called the sleep-n--secure or sleep secure...can't remember the exact name. But, I am pretty sure they only have one. We love it. It makes us feel she is secure between us.
  • Plus, we are just now trying to transition her to her PnP. ou can just move the whloe bed in there.Eventually we will take it out completely. We hope it makes the transition easier.
