Lately, DS has been refusing to eat fruits and veggies in table food form. However, he loves anything crispy. I have some all natural freeze-dried fruit slices (like these) that I think I might be able to convince him to try. Do these seem safe for his age?
I can't imagine why they wouldn't be, and there's nothing added to them or anything, but I've never heard of parents giving kids freeze-dried food so I thought I'd solicit opinions here. I'm just sick of making and toting around purees.
Re: Can I feed my kid this?
If they are really hard, no. If they are like potato chips, yes.

B loved those things when he was about that age, and had no issues with them. They pretty much melt in your mouth, so as long as you don't give him enormous chunks (I remember the banana and strawberry ones were large and sometimes harder than the apple and pear) he should be fine.
We used to keep a pack in the diaper bag at all times as our go-to emergency snack. They can get a little messy, but no more than any other crumbly food.
