PSA---Stride Rite on zulily

I really like Stride Rite shoes for my son and although they are out of a lot of the larger sizes, there are some left--as well as plenty for this age range. So just wanted to share. And oh man---if I only had a daughter---there are some cutesy girly ones on there. Too cute.

I got DD a pair of boots this AM.

are stride rite the ones that are wider than other shoes? DS has amazingly wide feet and I am having the hardest time finding shoes for him. Also, am I reading the size chart correctly? DS is 13 months so he would be a size 0 for them? That is confusing to me haha

Not sure if their shoes are wide or not. But that isn't necessarily true about the sizing. At 12 months, I think DS was a 4.5. I'd get his feet measured first at a local store so you know.

The regular sizes aren't really wider but they have wide and x-tra wide which is what DS1 wore. Go on to the stride rite site and print out the little foot chart---might save a trip to the store plus those metal things scare some kids (my son loved it though).

So I try to get wide or x-tra wide because his feet are still wide.

Thanks! Too bad I just bought DD a pair of their Abby Cadabby beginning walker shoes last weekend, but they are so cute! It's great because DD is super small (size 2.5) and they will order them special for her at no extra cost!

Thanks! We just got a couple of new pairs this weekend but knowing how fast DD has been outgrowing shoes (went from a 5 to a 6 in 3 months) I just picked up a couple in the next few sizes up so that we would have some ready.
