Netflix splitting service-has this been talked about?

I know that most know about the price change, but have you all heard they are actually splitting the service. The DVD by mail will be renamed Qwikster and the streaming will be called Netflix. The two will no longer be integrated and if you pay for both services you have to go to two different sites and you will be billed by the sites separately. 

I'm annoyed. It isn't the name change, but the fact that they seem to be making it more difficult to navigate instead of easier.

    That is really annoying. Perhaps I might have to go back to blockbuster if that happens.

    As much as I love Netflix, I have a feeling DH and I will be getting rid of the DVD feature and just adding Hulu+ for new TV shows and whatnot.

    I sure hope that Netflix is actually going to significantly expand their streaming selections. 

    And Starz was completely dumb for cutting ties with Netflix.

    It wouldn't surprise me.  Netflix seems to be making bad decision after bad decision.

    We just cancelled our streaming service this morning after we heard.

    Netflix/whatever they call it next will be going the way of the dodo very soon, I think.

    It will be a PITA to use two separate sites. I will probably cancel one or the other, depending on if Netflix adds more current movies and more shows to their streaming.

    We canceled our streaming service too.  I think we are down to one movie at a time rental.  The selection of new movies isn't that great since they have to wait so long to release them.
