Anka - the seat back looks short but it looks very sturdy.
Boon - smaller footprint, but it looks like a baby barbershop chair. My DS wiggles all over the place and leans far to the side to see the floor... I'd be concerned that he'd tip that one over.
Summary - as long as the seat back is ok on the Anka, I'd get that one. Especially if you plan on having more kids. Wood high chairs tend to stand the test of time. My DS is currently using my little brother's high chair at my mom's house... it's 17 years old and looks brand new.
They're both really different designs... would either of them "go" better in your house than the other?
The Anka matches my house perfectly. I have a friend with the Anka and her 2 year old still uses this chair. I didn't think about the tipping over problem, thanks.
If I had the money I would buy the Stokke Tripp Trapp High Chair because it is the best one that grows with baby. We have an IKEA one that was only $25 and I love it because it is simple (and it was cheap!) and it is super easy to clean.
Re: High Chair Help!
Boon!
I personally despise wooden high chairs. A pain to clean!
