Stuck in Frued's anal stage? :)

My DD has been potty trained for daytime for about a month. She took to it like a pro and never has accidents, #1 or #2. However, she will not poop on the potty! She says, "I won't. It's too weird! It's uncomffable!" and a variety of other adorable but frustrating excuses. She now poops in the middle of the night, the only time she still wears a diaper. Usually we hear her up and catch it, but she doesn't yell for us, when we come in and change it (in the middle of the night or in am) she freaks. out. Before potty changing, diaper changes were fine, and she never pooped or woke up in the middle of the night! Any tips to break the cycle???

    Does she use the regular toilet or a small potty? DD will pee on the big toilet just fine, but she prefers to poop on the little potty. I think she feels more comfortable being able to have her feet on the ground.

    She only uses the smally potty, although this may be part of the problem. She is really small and only just now able to put her toes and the balls of her feet on the floor, even on the little potty.

    I kind of think it's in her head, though... maybe I'm over-thinking it....
