maternity clothes already?

So, my friend is getting married the first of Oct, and I'll be about 13 weeks, and didn't think I would need a maternity dress. I was extremely frustrated upon looking though. I guess dresses are not in for this fall, b/c i couldn't find dresses anywhere in my town (granted I'm in Casper, WY and fashion has a hard time getting here) but the only dresses I could find were in maternity. Luckily there were some cute ones, and they hide the bump a bit (I haven't told a lot of people yet). But I was shocked that I couldn't find anything except in maternity.

    What about a shift dress? It would hide your belly pretty well probably. Maybe shop online?

    I feel your pain. I have a wedding to go to and I will be 12 weeks. It is not the belly I am really worried about but my boobs. None of my dresses currently fit. I need to find something too. I have gone to like TJ Maxx but no luck. I am really tempted to buy a dress from Boden and wear it for like Thanksgiving and church.

    I have a wedding at 15weeks and sometime in January (haven't worked out how many weeks that is yet, haha but clearly far along). The dress I have in my closet that I always wear to weddings is already insanely tight that it barely zips. I tried looking for a dress yesterday too and couldn't find anything. I only went to 3 stores but didn't find anything maternity or otherwise.

    It's kind of an odd time for shopping as we're right in between seasons. Fall clothing should be out within the month, so I am hopeful that there will be some good selection then.

    If you aren't opposed to shopping online I noticed that Asos.com has some really cute maternity dresses and their clearance is decently priced. It's a UK store but shipping is free.

    I liked that one online a lot! I saw it in store yesterday and found the material to lay weird and it was really low cut on me.

    Try looking online for a flowy dress with an empire waist. It'll come in handy during the PP months too!

    I have a wedding that exact same day.  I found a $25 dress at TJ Maxx two sizes bigger than I normally wear.  I actually bought a few maternity dresses on major discount the other day and they're still way to big- mostly in the chest (and my breasts have gotten much bigger!). 

    We are in such an awkard stage!  I did buy maternity pants that I'm currently wearing because I'm so thick, but they don't look like I'm wearing maternity.

    I turned 12 wks today.  While I'm not yet in maternity gear, there is absolutely no way that I could pull off anything slinky/fitted.  I agree w/ PP, try to get a babydoll style dress.  I'm holding off on maternity as long as possible!  Good luck!
