photo ops at pumpkin patches or fall festivals in Arlington/Alexandria/Falls Church area

Yes, it is early :D but I loooove Fall.  I know there are some fun Fall Festivals a little further out (we went to them last year and they were fun), but I was wondering about more local places to get some fun pumpkin photos while we choose our pumpkin.  The only ones I know of near us are in church parking lots and I'd rather the background not be asphalt. :)  Would be great if there was hay or grass to sit on.

  • Not sure if Burke would work for you but if so it looks cute. I have driven by it a few times and plan on taking my LO there. Here is their website https://pumpkinplayground.com/ *excuse errors, on handheld device*

  • We did Cox Farms last year and had a blast with good photo ops! (Not sure if that is too far out for you.)

  • The pumpkin playground in Burke is fun! It's not as far as Cox Farms from you, but  similar (though about 1/5 the size). We took DS last year and I liked that it was just a little smaller and less crowded than Cox Farms. He loved it and we got lots of great pics! You don't pick your pumpkin off the vine or anything, but they have a wagon ride, slides, hay, etc.

  • Yep, Burke Nursery is a nice one that's close in.

  • Thanks for the suggestions!
