3 Day PTing

Well, day 1 is done.  She did better than I thought she would - 4 pees on the potty.  And probably a good 20 accidents.  But after the first accident, she wouldn't put underwear back on.  So she did the rest of the day naked.  The best part about the day though is she is saying peepee or poopy now everytime she goes.  (Poopy also equals pee I guess bc she didn't poop at all today).

I however am still sick.  It has been 2 weeks now of this cold so I went to the dr last night and I have a sinus infection.  So bending down to clean up pee is just awesome.  As is running up and down the stairs a ton of times.  I napped today while she did, I just did not have the energy to clean up like I had planned on doing.  So now I am going to do a quick mop of the rooms she has been in today, switch over the laundry, and head to bed again hoping to feel better.

Anyone else experience a kid though that didn't want to wear underwear?  I don't mind doing it naked in the house, but not sure how that will work later on if we are successful this weekend.  SHe was super excited about the underwear until she got the first pair wet.

    We aren't doing the 3 Day PTing thing but I've started putting DD in cloth training pants when we are at home.  There are often times she doesn't want to put a new pair on after an accident.  I let her run around naked for a bit and then say "go pick out a pair of big girl undies" and she runs to the bathroom.  In each bathroom I have a tub of training pants so she can pick out any pair she wants.  She likes to try to put them on herself but still needs help.  So I think the naked thing is totally normal.  Sounds like you're off to a good start! :-)

    If you saw my blog posts, Avery took hers off on the first day and ran naked for a few hours. I didnt care and she did a lot better naked, but I worried that when I put undies on that she would think she could pee in them. Since then, I've pretty much made her wear them. She hasnt put up too much of a stink except that first day. Maybe its just a different feeling they have to get used to?
