LO not burping at night?

DS is normally a great burper during the day, but DH and I can never get him to burp after his 2 night time feedings.  Anyone else experience this or know why this might happen?

Maybe because he's so sleepy? I don't always get my LO to burp at night either...or sometimes during the day.

Fiona doesn't burp at night either.  I read somewhere that it's because when they're sleepy, they eat slower and don't take in as much air.

I almost never get a burp at night. I figured it's because she's usually back asleep while i'm trying. (or if she's asleep when i'm burping during the day it's the same way)  I try for a minute, and don't try to force it, because it's not worth waking her up for!
