This is a follow-up to the "Forbidden Foods" post - great topic, by the way! Here is some info on the effects of alcohol consumption on hormones. I was definitely in the "drink until pink" category, until I started experiencing problems that seem related to too much estrogen/too little progesterone. My body is going nutso on the hormone front after my miscarriage in May, so I am trying to abstain as much as possible, as painful as that is
