Is anyone's baby getting up on all fours?

Gus has really been working on this over the past week.  He is getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth.  It warms my heart but I'm also kind of scared of having two mobile children once he starts crawling.

  • No! I think I'll have a heart attack when this happens!

Noah does put his feet underneath him when he is on his back and can scoot across the floor that way. That's mobile enough for me right now!

  • She's really close.  Right now, she gets up on her forearms and then kicks her legs so she's moving in a circle. C walked at 10 months, and I know it's all coming. Soon. SCARY!!! MAKE IT STOP.

  • Dee is so close. I'm going today to buy the electric outlet covers because I'm nervous that she's going to become mobile any minute. She does use rolling as her way to get around currently.

Yep, Iris was full out walking by 10 months.  I was sure that meant #2 would be lazy and content to just lie on the floor for the first 9 months of his life.  Apparently he doesn't agree.  He can already scoot his way across a room.  So scary.

  • He keeps trying and I really hope it takes a long time yet to succeed. He gets up on his knees easily but hasn't quite figured out the arms part yet.

  • No! DS is not even rolling yet! He's close to rolling tummy to back, when he's on his activity mat he supports himself with both arms, starts kicking both legs and goes in circles lol. But I don't think he's even close to crawling...the thought scares me! DH, we better baby proof this place!
  • D is almost there. I am scared too. He it really scooting. Today at play group he was going after all of the toys and moving all over. I think it's just a matter of time.
  • She gets her knees up under her but her chest is still on the floor. That seems too soon!

  • DD is still doing the exact opposite... she lays on her belly with her head up, and arms and legs up and hovering. She looks like she is sky-diving.

  • She inchworms all over the place.  I'll be in the heart attack group when she's actually up rocking!  We haven't baby proofed anything yet.
  • When he's on the bed he'll put his feet on the bed and his rear up the air and "crawl" with his head on pushing across the bed.  I worry he's going to end up with a rug burn on his face from it, but it's pretty cute to watch him do it.
