Told my Mom....

I was really  nervous about telling my Mom that STBXH and I are splitting up.  She came in today from out of town to watch my son and I finally got up the nerve and told her.  She took it well, hugged me and said she was sorry.  I don't know why but I was really unsure as to whether she would support me or not.  (I think this was a totally irrational fear, but a fear none the less....)  I think now I will be less nervous to tell other people.
