Divorce :(
So after over 26 years of marriage, my parents are getting divorced.
Apparently they have a court date today- which I was just informed of yesterday.
The dreaded divorce has been lingering for years but I guess I always thought they would work it out.

I am so sorry. My parents announced their divorce the same year that I got married. I know what you are going through... My parents treat me like the middle man so I suggest you tell them now that you won't stand for that!
It's hurts just as bad as if you were younger.

That really stinks and I'm sorry you're dealing with that situation. My parents separated when I was in high school. They did end up getting back together, but I know crappy divorce is. I hope everything works out the best it can for you and your family. (((hugs)))
My parents got divorced when i was in 2nd grade.. id like to say i can help but at that age you know what is going on but its just your life... as an adult i believe you will get the concious effort to stay equally in touch with both of them. Goodness i wish my older sister would get a divorce though...

Sorry you're going thru this... my sister is going through a nasty divorce right now... a lot of he said she said business and we're stuck in the middle...

Oh that is so weird that you posted this. My parents are separating after 26 years of marriage too. It's horrible!
You would think that at my age (25) it would make it easier to deal with--in fact, it does not. It is hard knowing that this is happening.
