What a freaking psycho. I will never understand how someone could do this. I read her post before I went to bed and was heartbroken for her. I was so worried that I couldn't sleep and checked on DD all throughout the night. There is a special place for someone that would make up a story like this. Sick sick sick!

Wow. I don't really get normal MUD, but this? WTF? So either she doesn't have a kid or she has one that's alive and well. I don't get it either way. If there's no baby, why waste time/energy talking about an imaginary pregnancy/baby? That just sounds like work. And if she has a healthy baby... yeah, WTF?

So glad that I wasn't on TB last night to see the original post before the truth came out. I'm already paranoid.

And why wouldn't someone remember such a huge lie? This isn't telling your husband that you don't mind his annoying friend or telling your boss that you're sick and going to the beach -- it is making up a huge, elaborate story about your baby dying. Was the MUD just no fun without someone catching on?

Wow! Like most of you, I was heartbroken & cried after reading PN's post. I also spent half the night awake and checking on DD, imagining what I would do if the unthinkable happened. If it was all made up, that's one of the sickest things I've ever heard. All I have to say to PN is that karma's a b!tch and punishes people who take things like SIDS lightly.

While PN's actions were deplorable, one glimmer of good seems to have come from it. We've all been reminded how much we love our LOs and how important they are to us. Anyone who read PN's post last night probably gave their LO an extra hug, kiss & cuddle before bed. Perhaps we were a bit more patient while LO was fussing. Or, maybe we examined LO's sleeping arrangement one more time to make sure it's as safe as possible. When we're sleep-deprived and frustrated, it's easy to forget how lucky we are to have beautiful, healthy babies. Whether or not any of it was true, I'm taking it as a lesson to always remember what a blessing DD is in my life.

Well put! I ended up on the cot in DD's room and felt blessed that every little fart of hers woke me!

IDK, but after my sleepless night thanks to Nurp, I'm ready to smack somebody.

No, I have never said anything in regards to someones weight and having a baby. I too had a bad nights sleep and I apologize for being a ***. I guess I just couldn't believe that someone could make that up and was looking for a reason why there could have been a mix up.
