Hair Washing Question

Our LO loved the bath until recently which makes washing her hair a little hard at times. She's all over and wants out as soon as her hair is wet.

I'm trying to find a hose that attaches to a regular bathtub.

Anyone have suggestions on which one to buy?

Re: Hair Washing Question

  • My DS went through this too. We give him a small cup & make a game out of him getting his own hair wet. he giggles and the water goes all over his face but he is okay because he did it... sometimes, when he isn't in the mood for a game or bath. I just have to wash it as quickly as possible.

  • My DD was that same way until we discovered this (sorry I can't do a link):

It has a flexible rubber side that you press up against LO's head so no water goes in their face, it's awesome!!!  I have to wrap one arm around her to lift her chin up and keep her from falling backwards while the other hand pours.  Also, if she's ever upset I just whip out the bubbles and start blowing (California Baby bubble bath comes with a wand to blow bubbles) and it always works.  GL!

  • We use either the handheld shower or a cup like PP said.  (Soft rubber side to hold against LO's head)  Sometimes we even just lay her in the tub on my arm and I tell her to kick while I wet her hair.
