What do you do with you kids undies once outgrown?

in School-Aged Children
Do you take them to the Goodwill? Clothing bank? They are all in good condition. It seems like such a waste to throw them away.

    There's a post on another board (Preschool maybe?) about handing down undies and several people said it was gross, lol.

    I save them for the younger kids still but yes, I think I'd see if Goodwill wanted them.

    Toss them.  For DS, they're usually worn out enough I don't feel too badly about it.  I just had to hide the fact that I was throwing out some of DD's size 2's - they're too little, but apparently, she was going to "miss" them...

    They're about the only thing I won't pass down...

    DD#2 gets DD#1 outgrown pairs.  Once she outgrows them I throw them out.

    I just toss them, too.  I think there are many clothing charities that would wind up just throwing underwear away, and it increases the time and labor needed to sort through my donation.
    High School English teacher and mom of 2 kids:

    DD, born 9/06/00 -- 12th grade
    DS, born 8/25/04 -- 7th grade

    Me personally, I throw them away. I just don't like the idea of sharing underwear. I guess you could give them to Goodwill. What isn't right for me might be right for someone else.

    DD1 and DD2 share underwear since they are the same size but I toss them when they outgrow them.  I will need more for DD3.

    My boys share underwear since they are all about the same size. But I did catch my youngest a couple months ago proudly say that he wore the same pair of underwear for a whole month! So maybe those with kids that share keep count of how many your washing! Then usually by the time they're through with them they are so holey so I have to toss them.
