Great game today! DH and I went to the game and took both DS and DD with us, and they did so great! I wore DD in the Bjorn and she slept through the 1st quarter. It was such a blast and I really need to PIP because DD looked so adorable in her MSU outfit! (camera battery died so pics are on DH's phone)

Anyway, GO GREEN!! I football season!!

NO WAY! We were there with DS, and I saw a couple with a baby in the Bjorn and a little blonde haired DS. Did you have on black yoga type capris? So random....I notice clothing. lol

You had a gray t-shirt on, eh? Am I a creeper? LOL

No, it was mid-1st quarter. We took DS out to use the potty and get a snack. I was kind of hanging out by Section 7 (where our tickets are) and I was thinking "Wow, look at her with no diaper bag. And she's so fit with those cute capris on." Seriously, you looked great! And your DS was a total honey. It's funny how you notice families more often when you have kids of your own. My husband even remembered you.

Not all of us, but my DH took it without knowing and I thought it was kind of cool.

So fun...my parents actually have season tix in Section 7! Wish I would have somehow known it was you, LOL...we'll have to plan a May Moms tailgate or meetup!?

And no diaper bag? Sucked but DH's pockets in his cargo shorts were loaded up, LOL! We made it work.

So Jealous. I miss Spartan football and football in the north in general. Nothing beats the crisp fall air, a warm hoodie and some tailgating. Now we only go to watch the gators play and it's rediculously hot the majority of the season. Oh, how I miss the north this time of year.

Re: The no bag policy, I talked to another mom in the bathroom who had a small bag and was wearing her DD. I asked her how she got the bag in and she said she went to the "medical" needs gate (Gate K, on the back of the stadium, by Wells Hall). She told them there was no way she could not bring the bag in and they let her take it in. I guess if you're wearing a baby they make exceptions

I took a 1 gallon ziploc bag with a pull-up and some wipes for my DS. (the gallon ziploc is allowed) It worked out well, I guess.

Oh, and one other random thing: I bought DS' ticket in the parking lot (since we have 2 season tix together) and when we got to our section, they almost wouldn't let us up. Um, we are season ticket holders and alumni and it was my DS' first game. I understand the policy, but he's not even 3. I was about to have a total meltdown and the guy could see it on my face. Needless to say, he let us up and we just kept DS on our lap. Phew.

Not only that, but friends of ours told us at the tailgate that we would need a ticket for DD. What?! For DD, a 3 month old who is not going to sit in a seat? So we said we'd take our chances. Go through the gate wearing DD and an elderly man tore our tickets. As I'm walking away, I hear him say "actually, you need 4 tickets" but I just kept walking and he didn't stop me. I mean really MSU? That is pretty sh!tty...I'm really starting to get annoyed by their money-making ploys surrounding athletics, it's getting ridiculous. From the yearly "donation" requirement to the increase in parking pass costs and now this- it's just getting to be too much.

I agree. They are using the "capacity" issue to their advantage. It wasn't even a sold out game, kwim? Enforce your crazy rules for the big games, not the games where there are likely to be more kids. And I realize I'm sounding like a crazy Mom right now, but I was going to have a total damn freakout at that guy if he didn't let my DS up there. He was all "they are really strict about it this year" and I about started to cry. LOL Jerks. haha.

And yeah, technically every person that enters the stadium needs a ticket. 3 years ago, it wasn't that way, because our friends brought their 2 y/o DD and she got in for free. (it was Under 2, in for free....at one point)
