While you're asking. I am bad I know and use Tide-Free and Clear on my CDs. I haven't noticed any problem in almost 4 months. Is it supposed to wreck the absorbancy? They still seem very absorbent- but will it happen long-term?
I started with Rock n Green, but it gave me repelling issues. I'm not spending twenty bucks on detergent that gives me problems. Ick.
Then like a fool I tried the Hard Rock mix. Same issue.
Right now I'm using Clean B because I got a free sample from my diaper lady, but I have a feeling I'll end up using the EFF recipe: oxyclean, washing soda, and borax.

I use the EFF recipe and I like it a lot. No issues with it at all. I was using natureclean 3X concentrated liquid with my first, but I didn't think that it for the diaps really clean.
I'm not from Canada, but I can't say enough good things about Charlie's Soap. I used RnG and All Free and Clear before switching to Charlie's. RnG was fine, but All F&C left the diapers so smelly! I ordered Charlie's through Amazon, so I'm not sure where it'd be available for purchase locally.

Yeah, see amazon here doesn't sell anything useful and the postal system is $$$ for shipping stuff. It's really not worth buying soap on the internet, and I've never seen Charlies IRL.
You can get Nellie's at London Drugs, and some people use Country Save which is also reasonably easy to find. Or just plain ol' Tide. Sometimes I wonder if it matters as much as people think or if it's just crazy talk. After using the "right" stuff and having such bad results I'm starting to wonder.
Here's the Canadian website for Charlie's soap. https://www.charliesoap.ca/ I'm with Kacelle and can't say enough about it. They have a few local places listed that sell it.

I'm using Country Save (the powder), and so far I haven't had any problems at all with it. I'm not in Canada, but I found a great deal on it on Amazon (yay for free Amazon Prime!). I'm using it on everything I wash now, and it's going to take me 20 years to get through the 4 boxes I bought.
