Admitted to hospital on Thursday (planned section), went home on Monday...so 4.5 days, 4 nights.
I couldn't WAIT to get out of there by Monday-lol, when the discharge nurse came in we were all dressed, packed and ready to go-just sitting there waiting. She laughed and said "Someone is ready to head home!"
I had to stay a week because my blood pressure spiked on day 3 and they had to keep me until it came down with meds. Scary! The boys stayed with me as well because they lost 11% and 13% of their birth weight and we had to get them to gain before we were released.
Our hospital always keeps c-sections 3-4 nights. With DD#1 we stayed the 3 nights because everything was going great and I felt pretty good. Our doc has already told us that with this one though she will keep me the 4 nights since I'll have a LO at home already. She said she feels like women who are already mom's will have a lot to go home to and they need as much rest/recoop time as possible. I know I'll hate being away from DD but I'm hoping that extra day will help me feel more up to par!
2 nights...I went in on Wed morning had DS2 and was home by Friday afternoon at 2pm...I refused to stay in the hospital any longer and wanted to be home I missed DS1 so much and hated being away from him even though he would come to the hospital to see me and the baby. By Thursday I had myself out of bed and dressed before the nurse came in to check on me at 9am and told the doctor that I wanted to be released on Friday morning...she said as long as I felt well enough I could go home.
My sister is the same way with her daughter she was home in 2 days and she just had her son this past Wed and will be home sometime this afternoon.

6 nights - it was going to be 5 nights but I got a fever the day I was to be discharged and I needed to stay an extra night. My DD was in the NICU the whole time so it was nice to have the additional night in the hospital so I was close to her. Leaving was the worst - because DD was still there for another week.
I was there three nights. I could've gone home after 2 but I was having difficulty breastfeeding and wanted to be there for another day for support. This time, with one at home, I am hoping to stay 2 nights, but you never know.
3 nights for DS1 (about 2.5 days). 48 hr exactly with DS2. I wanted to get home to my older son and get on my own couch- it was less painful than trying to get in and out of the hospital bed!!
Well I was admitted to the hospital for toxemia and kept in there for about 4 days before they decided to induce. I was in labor for 24 hours before the emergency csection. Then DD was careflighted to Fort Worth hospital. My doc released me the next day after the csection b/c I wanted to go stay with DD. This is not typical but my case was diff.

5 days/4 nights. It sounds like a cruise.
I went in Tuesday to be induced, had her on Wednesday and was discharged on Saturday.
Admitted in the wee hours of the morning on a Friday, C Section 24 hours later on Saturday, discharged 4 nights later, Wednesday, around 11 am.
So hoping for a VBAC this time. I don't want to spend so much time away from Sam.

I got released on day 5. My hemoglobin was low so they were monitoring my iron intake to make sure it comes back up.
If they let me stay for a month I would have. I did not want to go home.
Went in on a Saturday to be induced.....
C-section happened on Monday...
Left on Wednesday
