I think most of those women are in denial. There was one person that I could actually believe. She had her tubes tied and was a little older. She was having fatigue symptoms and minor weight gain but chalked that up to a new job and stress. THAT I can understand. The other ones? Not so much.
The one that really upset me was the woman who got pregnant, had the baby at home, told no one and waited like three days to go to the hospital. Seriously. WTF?
Jack Emmett born on 2/2/10 after 17 cycles and a miscarriage
Calvin Wyatt born on 1/10/12. Our surprise baby!
For serious, I saw one where the woman said she mistook movement for "bubble gut". I would never have said that is anything like bubble gut before I was pg but oddly enough after having Jax I've had a few incidents of bubble gut that were very similar to movement. But I know I'm not pg...I take tests almost every month to make damn sure!

Me too! I do not get how one would no know they were pregnant until the baby makes its arrival. The lack of sleep, the increase in peeing, the heartburn over drinking water. Not to mention the baby moving the hiccups and the punching of my bladder and wetting myself.

I'm not sure. With my pregnancy, I didn't have morning sickness, only gained about 20lbs, and (because of an anterior placenta) only felt sporadic movement. And when I wore my regular clothes you could not tell I had a bump. But, I'm as regular as they come, so for me no period would have been a major giveaway. I can see how if a woman is irregular (which a lot of them claim to be) and had an easy pregnancy like mine could not know.
I do agree the majority are in denial, but I can see how a few really didn't know.
I must admit that I am even more baffled by the show "I didn't know I was pg."
Are those women in the most serious state of denial, ever? I even saw one recently where it supposedly happened TWICE to the same woman.
I saw this as well. Crazy, IMHO. I don't think I could be pg and not know. I am a "late shower" (24ish weeks) but at somepoint you have to realize something is off.
