I'm actually thinking of starting a Dumb Bumpie Post-It Note collection.

I don't read any of those series books and when I hear people talking about them, I immediately imagine book club discussions over a D&D board.

I'm having lots of anxiety issues about weaning and working mommy guilt.

Glad I'm not the only one.

ETA: And, I just looked at the Kardashian collection and I don't find it surprising at all. The clothes look as trashy as those girls do.

My only issue with the actor who plays him is that he's kind of pouty. I don't like pouty.

Also, I pretend he's 25 in the book. LOL.

Dude. Are you kidding? All he does in GoT is pout, and he does his fair share of pouting in the other books as well. That's the main reason I'm so meh about him.

He's pouty in GoT, but not as pouty as in the show, I don't think.

Also, he gets less pouty as time goes on. IMO.

I finished A Dance with Dragons last night.

I started Game of Thrones this morning.

Suck it, haterz.

Tomorrow we're going to our state fair. I will be eating my weight in scones, corn dogs and hamburgers. I am also irrationally angry that it will be 90 and clear skies there tomorrow. Perfect fair weather is 65 and overcast.

Today is the last day of my current schedule at work. Next week I go to part time. I'm torn between being happy to be home with the girls more and being sad I'm going to lose additional reading-on-the-bus time.

I might have forgot to put on deoderant today.

I love fairs and their deep fried everything on a stick. On a stick!

I personally am a huge fan of deep fried oreos.

I was watching the Kardashians at the gym the other day (cause that's how I force myself to go, satellite TV). That's a confession in itself. However the freaking mom was b!tching cause they were going to Bora Bora and her body is old and doesn't look like her daughters etc. and went to go get looked at for plastic surgery. Get over it lady! You're old! You're not supposed to look like your slvtty 20 year old daughters.

i have another FFFC (i'm full of them today!)

yesterday i found out that a coworker met her husband when she was 14 and he was 41!! her parents tried to send her away and put her in counseling but she kept seeing him and married him as soon as she turned 18. they stayed married until he died a few years ago at close to 80. i cannot look at her the same any longer... i find this creepy and i think he HAD to have been a perv. what does a 41 yr old see in a 14 yr old?!

so yeah - i was judgy mcjudgerson yesterday....

Seriously, it is really good. Well worth the hype. I don't know that it can replace HP in my heart, but my heart has certainly made room for it. Much like what I imagine having a second child would be like.

My FFFC is that after reading what one poster wrote to me that I would meet my baby in heaven and it would ask me why I killed one and not the other, I freaked out. My hands started shaking, I cried and had a hard time breathing. Then I remembered I don't even believe in heaven because I believe in reincarnation.

Yeah, I'm expecting there to be some gratuitous sex and whatnot. The books have a lot of sex, so I wouldn't expect HBO to get rid of that.

My beef with cable shows is gratuitous sex and violence for sex and violence's sake.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised, for the most part, at its faithfulness to the books. Of course they throw in unnecessary secks scenes, but it's HBO, FFS. Unnecessary secks scenes, they iz a must.

While it absolutely doesn't excuse trying to make you feel bad, the woman that said that suffered a recent loss, so she might not be in such a great place right now.

I would judge initially too but they stayed married for 40 some yrs till death did them part. That part makes me teary eyed.

Same. Initially creepy, but clearly they were in love, since he stayd with her long after she grew pewbs.
