I came across the name Odessa and instantly feel in love with it; however, I am a bit torn because I have found three different meanings for the name.
The first meaning from babynamesworld.com is: "Full of Wrath" and the origin is Ukrainian
The second meaning from thinkbaby.com is: "Angry man" and "Odessey" and the origin is Greek.
The third meaning from iampregnant.com is: "Odessey, voyage" and the origin is also Greek.
I mentioned the name to DH and he LOVES it! I am just torn between the meanings... Normally, I could careless about the meaning of the name if I really liked it... but oddly enough, I am torn.
What do you think of the name Odessa?

This is exactly what I was going to say. There is a book about high school football in Odessa, TX. If that doesn't bother you, then if you love it that's all that matters.
