baby happy? Maya is on a super plum kick. I gave it to her as part of her breakfast one day and ever since she can't get enough. Her appetite has skyrocketed the past couple days anyway, but she keeps signing MORE for plums and isn't happy till she has eaten the whole thing.
Is this ok for a 14 month old to eat a whole plum everyday? It isn't constipating her or giving her diarrhea. I know it is a lot of sugar from the fruit, but she only gets fruit with her breakfast, its veggies and meat and other things the rest of the time.
Re: A plum a day keeps the...
We got a bunch of plums from my ILs recently, so Nora has been eating some almost every day.
Yesterday she had four BMs at child care (more than her usual) so we've decided to cut back for now. : )
I'd just keep an eye on her to make sure they're not having an effect on her in that way, but otherwise I wouldn't worry. I'm sure she loves them because they're in season so they taste great!

Sidebar - yesterday at our local grocery store (Rainbow, for anyone local) they had both "plumcots" or whatever they're called, and "Dino Eggs" which were HUGE plums that were speckled purple and peach. She went nuts for them, and would have eaten 10 if allowed.
