Took the Intelli-gender Test This Morning...

Any of you ladies planning on taking the intelligender test at 10 weeks??? Today is 10w 1d and the results are in.... it says..... BOY!!!!! The test is 80-something percent accurate but they recommend not making any "major purchases, etc" based on its results.

DH wanted a boy, I wanted a girl. But recently we were both starting to feel girl so its funny that we were both "happy & bummed" at the same time! Just 10 more weeks and the ultrasound will tell me for sure!

Sorry, I'd say it's no more than 50% accurate. No, I will not be taking the Intelligender test. It's a pointless waste of money.

This! I have my anatomy scan scheduled, in less than two months, I can wait for the excitement of that announcement that's more accurate.

Ha - my friend (who is due one day before me) and I took them this morning

I am fully aware it is probably a load of crap, but we thought it would be fun/funny, and we are crazy like that. Both said boy for us (we both already have boys, too). I put no real stock in it, but it was good for some entertainment this morning (Although, I do think I am having another boy, but for other reasons).

We may do it purely for entertainment purposes. Even though it probably is 50% accurate, I don't see how paying money for that is different than paying to go see a movie out. It is just money for entertainment.

I would not waste my money on it. My friend and I were pregnant and due the same day last year....she has two boys, was not planning for a 3rd but she really wanted a girl....the test said boy and she was (I won't say devastated) but bummed. She ended up finding out at her 20 week u/s it was a girl. Another friend took it and said boy, it was right. Bottom line....there is a 50-50 chance it is right. I would rather wait until they see it on the u/s or for team green peeps when the baby is born.

Seems the majority of people who take it it says boy. Sounds like a waste of money to me. I can wait the 10 more weeks to find out for real what I am having. Hope it's right for you though and you didn't actually waste your money.

The company sent me one for free to take for my vlog, so I will do it. They're also sponsoring a giveaway so I'll have one to send to someone else, too.

I saw them at CVS for $28 on sale. I wouldn't pay that much for it.

I'm going to do it for fun and help the time pass. It is my first pregnancy and I'm going to spoil myself!! Plus, I don't even get ONE u/s until 20 weeks. I have it under my counter and this Sat when I turn 10 weeks and 1 day, I'm doing it! How many want to wager right now that it will say boy?? LOL

Well there must be something there since every friend of mine that has taken it it's been right, right? Besides if I give birth to a girl, they give me my $30 back! Either way - I can't go wrong!
