What to expect iPhone App

Is anyone else following this app? I love it and it has daily updates and best of all is it is FREE :)

But here is my one complaint... I changed to a raspberry at 7 weeks 1 day. And at 7 weeks it sends you a paragraph about being in your 8th week. So... which is right? Is my little dinosaur a blueberry or a raspberry?

    Once you are 7 weeks you are then in your 8th week because you've completed 7 weeks. Its confusing but one of my pregnancy books did the same, from 7w1d until 7w6d is technically your 8th week of pregnancy. I guess kind like birth-the first birthday is the first year KWIM?

    This confused me at first as well!  But then I realized that technically 8 weeks 1 day is 8 weeks completed and the beginning of the 9th week.  So it does make sense.

    I have this app too, but I don't really like it. The whole, technically a week ahead, thing, is confusing for me. Haha. I bought another pregnancy app and I LOVE it. Its just called Pregnancy, but it was the first one that comes up when you search for pregnancy apps. It was 3 dollars but SO TOTALLY worth it. They have a 'shopping list' section with every essential baby item that is needed, and for a FTM that is awesome!

    Same here! H likes when it is a "dad's day" on the app.

    I'm not a fan on the What to Expect ap and book because the cutesy puns irritate me to no end.  "Speaking of going out on a limb, your baby's arms and legs are beginning to bud."  

     

    I like the BabyBump ap better because it's more straight forward.
