strip membranes or not?

Any VBACers planning on getting your membranes stripped?  Will your doctor even do it for you?  Since mine won't induce prev c sec patients she suggests to try membranes stripping to help move things along as they won't do anything else like pitocin or cytotec.

    I'm 39 weeks and I go to the doc tomorrow. Last week my midwife said that she would strip my membrane this week to see if it would move things along. But now that the date has gotten closer, now I'm not so sure if I want her to or let nature takes its course. I started labor with my son three days before my due date. So if my dd doesn't come by appt next week then I might consider it again.

    I definitely considered it and I think it can be a good option.  There are some studies showing that it can cause cervical change and reduce the odds of going past 40 weeks.
