On Zulily they have 50% Halloween Costumes for Infants and Toddlers, plus they have winter coats on sale up to 70% off. I think that's a steal.

Yay! I keep telling DH that we should get DS a costume. He gives me the side-eye because DS is too young to trick-or-treat but whatever. I'm on the lookout for a monkey costume. I will check out Zulily. Last year he went as a secret fetus Stick out tongue

No idea!! Last year I picked up a super cute ninja costume from Once Upon a Child for $6 that still had tags on it. I think I will check there first before I look anywhere else. He is so into sports that I would like to dress him up like a football player or baseball player.....I think he would love it. I really hope he gets to go trick or treating......Halloween is VERY close to my due date.

Ella was a Butterfly last year, I got it from Old Navy. I liked it because it was 2 pieces and I didn't need to buy any extra pieces. The first year she was Mommys Sunshine! This year, I'm looking for a Piglet costume.

Since DS will only be about a month old, I found this adorable layette at Babies R' Us. It's a Army uniform since DH just got out of the service. I think it is make by Baby Aspen, Big Dreamzzz. They have adorable layettes for newborns.

I LOVE Halloween!! Last year my youngest was a butterfly (a cute and warm little costume from Old Navy) and my oldest was Princess Jasmine. My oldest picked her costume for this year over the weekend and decided she wanted to be Bat Girl.....odd choice for her I thought, but it is what she wanted.

Not too early at all! I am dying to pick out a cute Halloween costume/outfit, but I'm not sure I'll have a baby yet, so I've resisted. The newborn size "first halloween" onsie will be less useful if she's born in November. ;-)

Even though A is way too young to go trick or treating, I am going to get him a costume and he can go to the door with us when we get trick or treaters. I'm not really sure what I want him to be. Since A is small for his age, I'm just looking for a costume that fits.

Ada loves her stuffed pig, so I was thinking a pig costume would be cute. I hate costumes that have faces on them though. I always think it looks like the kid is being eaten by the animal, so I am trying to find one that has a hood with ears and a separate snout. I found one on etsy, but it is too expensive (it is reasonable for a handmade costume, just more than I want t o spend)

Sophia was a cat last year and I still love the costume. I had a groupon for 50% off that website. This year I'm trying to talk MIL into making a Dorthy costume. I just sent her an e-mail today. I could sew it myself probably, but I can never finish projects in time for whatever looming deadline there is.

I don't know what to do for Sydney. Last year she wore a ladybug costume that was our niece's and it was too big for her but she was only almost 5 months old so I didn't care since she wasn't really interacting with any part of Halloween. This year, I have a chicken costume from my other niece that I assumed would fit her because I know that last year it was too big. Well, I just looked at it last night and it's a 12-18 month size, and she's in a 2t. Hmph. Back to the drawing board. I'm not sure if we will trick or treat or stay at home to hand out candy, but I'm sure daycare will do something so I definitely need to figure it out.

On a side note, I have a really cute dalmatian puppy costume Sean wore for his 1st Halloween when he was 3 months old. Its from Old Navy. If any of you with little squishies would like to borrow it, just let me know Big Smile

We kind of want B to be a Hippo. A little random, but we have this inside joke about the song I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas and it would be cute. We could put Christmas ribbon on her head or something and DH and I could dress up in Christmas pajamas. Otherwise, I have no idea and need to start getting creative!

Last year Annabelle was a lamb (I think it's 12-24 month size), but during last year uproar w/ Daycare losing her costume, I had some family member get her another costume. She has a butterfly/fairy costume and a angel costume that was my Half Brother's (he is now 23). LOL!

I'll probably just use one of them.

I love Halloween! Last year they picked out their own costumes and DS1 was a penguin from the Penguins of Madegascar and DS2 was a pirate.

This year they are very into super heros; DS1 wants to be Wolverine and DS2 wants to be Batman. I am super excited for Halloween this year because the week before we are going to be in Disney and are doing Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party where they can trick-or-treat in Magic Kingdom.

Emily was a lamb for her first halloween and a pumpkin for her 2nd - we had the same groupon for buycostumes.com!

DH wants Emily to be a penguin this year but I don't really love any of the costumes out there. I think she would love to be a princess but I don't know...

Absolutely not too early! DH and I have been mulling this over for DS. He was a penguin last Halloween (which we LOVED and had to do), and I think we're planning on a dog this year, for lack of anything else that jumps out at us as "must have" for his costume. His first word was "doggie," so it seems appropriate. Now I just need to find one I like enough to buy - apparently even though I didn't have my heart set on a dog costume, I have an idea in my head of what it should look like, b/c I'm not liking any I've seen so far. Stick out tongue

DH also had a big thing for Mickey Mouse when he was little (he called him "Mick Mouk"), so we were toying w/ Mickey, but I'm pretty sure we're saving that for next year so that DS can be Mickey and Thing 2 can be either Minnie or Goofy, depending on what LO turns out to be. I can already picture it.

DH thinks I'm crazy because I have already been talking about this! My peanut is going to be Olivia for Halloween this year - she LOVES that show right now.

I am also going to make her BDAY(in November) Olivia themed as well : )

Last year DD wore the flower costume from Old Navy, it kept her nice and warm

This year I'm going to make some type of lady bug costume. I have black leggings and a red shirt I'm going to add spots too and I'll make a tutu from red and black tulle and some type of headpiece. I dont think she'd tolerate wings so I'm not going to worry about that part.

I bought a cow costume from Carters and then found a Lady bug costume at the Wee-sale for $3. So we have to find two times for DD to wear both costumes!!

This year D' will either be a Lion or a Dragon. I bought the Lion 1st at a consignment. He found it & now thinks it's a friend so I doubt I'll get him to wear it. I found the dragon through a diff online seller & have that hidden so hopefully he'll wear it instead of befriending it!

Last year he was a monkey with a banana peel on his head ^_^
