sbish longies question

I just received my sbish longies, sbish obfs and kissa wool lover's cover in the mail today (YAY!!)

I know I need to lanolize the sbish and the kissa's before use, but do I need to hand wash them before I lanolize them as well?

Also, the sbish site says to wash the obfs "a few times." How many is a few? Two? Three? They have snaps or I'd just boil them.

    I just learned this yesterday, but you can do a wool wash and lanolin soak at the same time!

    I use Aveno baby wash, and an inch of Lansinoh shaken together (to make sure lanolin is melted) with hot water in a jar or bottle then added to the bowl you're soaking the wool in.

    After a few hours, remove and roll in a towel to remove excess water.  then lay flat to dry
