Can you recommend a dollhouse your LO loves? We are thinking of getting one for DD for when DD#2 arrives--something to keep her occupied while I'm nursing, etc. The only thing is that we don't have a lot of room, so we need something big enough to keep her busy for a long period of time, but with a small footprint. She loves playing with dolls in the house, so if you can recommend one that comes with its own family, or just a set of dolls that works well in a dollhouse, I would really appreciate it!
Re: Dollhouses
We got DD the FP My First DH for her 2nd Christmas + all the accessories, (1yr 6mos), she never really had anything to do with it until about 2wks ago, and now she's in it ALL the time...we recently got her the FP Loving Family minivan, for her My First pple to drive in, (as that is a BIG thing for her too)...and they didn't really fit right, so daddy came home with the Loving Family pple, (which you can buy separately, dad & sister, mom & toddler)...SHE LOVES THEM!!!
I now wish I hadn't gotten her the My First because the Loving Family you can expand upon even more, (which we will probably get her when she can ask us for it)...while it can be big to play with, you can also fold it up to store it, and you can get like 1 tub to keep all the pieces in...that would probably be the best suggestion that I could give...

We have this one. It sits on a small bookshelf, so the space serves multipurpose. The furniture that comes with it is very sturdy. Now that DD is 5, she is getting more "real" furniture for Christmas and we can start to decorate it with wall paper and the like. I like that it has grown with her. She has had it since she was 2. All the furniture is still in great shape. She also uses it to play with her polly pockets and strawberry shortcake and smurfs figures. The take and play one is fun too, if you need something super small.

We have this one; it folds up pretty thin.
