2nd Trimester

High heels for 2st trimester mother?

Hi, ladies. You know, I'm in my 2st trimester now.Looking for opinions. I have these beautiful  Platform Court Shoe . Would it be appropriate to wear these shoes during the day or are they strictly evening shoes. I'm crazy on it. I really want to wear them to a daytime wedding. But my hubby worry about me.He said it is too high,it is not safe for me and baby.Wish I could post a picture of the shoes but I can't. If you'd like to see them, you can see them here..Is it ok for me to wear it for wedding??..

  • I would say yes as I am still wearing my heals out and about on an evening!!

What I would say is to pack a thin pair of flats in your handbag so that you can wear them when your feet are starting to ache! Or you have a distance to walk.

As you do a lot of sitting at weddings I think you will be fine!!

Buy them... buy them... Stick out tongue

  • I wear heels almost every day to work...the pair I have on now have a 2 1/2 inch.  I'm not on my feet all day, and I do keep flats with me just in case though.  I think it's all personal preference.  Did you see Beyonce rocking the stilettos on stage???

  • I'd be fine doing it for one day, but I highly recommend not wearing heels throughout your 3rd tri.  I did with my first and I got plantar fascitis because of it, was in pain till she was 1 and could barely walk, it was awful.  It also makes your feet spread out more, which makes your shoe size larger, and it will never go back!

Of course heels are going to ruin all of our feet by the time we are 80, but this was a big wakeup call!
