This may be a stupid question, but I tried out my little one in our city mini stroller this weekend and it seemed to me that, even on the lowest setting, the straps were way too high for her (she's around 25th percentile for length, so she's smallish but not teeny). I thought they were supposed to start right at the tops of her shoulders, like carseat straps, but if that's the case then it seems like a baby would have to be really tall for these things to fit right. And I hear about lots of people putting newborns in this particular stroller.
Is it ok for the straps to fit kind of high like that? They attach to the back of the stroller about 2-3 inches above her shoulders. Thanks!
Re: How to city mini straps fit?
We used that stroller with our little guy at 8 weeks (and he was a peanut), we just strapped him in and fully reclined and had no problems at all.
