39 weeks and gurgling/swishy noises from upper abdomen..

I am 39 weeks and 5 days today.... slightly dialated, have lost my plug last week thursday and has some loose bowels the past couple of days... no real contractions yet... strangest thing is that is that i have heard audible gurling/swishing noises from my abdomen the past coupld of days... could that be amniotic fluid? Should there really be air in there? Just curious if anyone else has had the same thing...baby is active for sure but doesn't happen in correlation with feeling baby move..

Maybe my water will break soon because there is too much fluid? Just seems weird to me.

    I'm 38 weeks and have had the same thing.  Baby has always been sitting kind of low so my stomach has been sitting on top of everything.  My gurgling and sloshing noises i know are from gas in my stomach. Does it make that noise when LO is moving?

    I'm 38wks (but measured 39) and I've had the gurgling/swishing noise too. Happens every now and then, but I think it's just a random thing that happens.  I don't remember hearing it with my second, but yes with my first.  I think it's just another weird thing that happens.: )

    Ive had this for about a while.... always made me giggle cause if I bend over to grab something, I can hear my belly FART. First time I heard it I was like "Umm.... THAT was weird"

    It's a good question though! I dont remember this with DD.

    I have been having the same thing... the other night it was so loud, DH thought our dog was growling lol. I think its just gas

    It's a good question though! I dont remember this with DD. 

     

    This! If i drink a lot of fluid I almost get a little pouch above the top of my uterus and if i poke at it it makes all kinds of noises...DH thinks I'm turning into a science experiment!
