I'll start off by saying that I probably worry about this subject too much, but my DS had a speech delay as a toddler and has been receiving speech therapy since he was 21 months old. He has a huge vocabulary now and speaks in complete sentences, but he still needs the therapy because his intelligibilty is about a year and a half behind where it should be. A lot of people still have difficulty understanding him when he speaks because of the way he pronounces certain letter/sound combinations.
DD uses about 20-30 words on a daily basis, but a lot of them sound pretty unclear and only DH and I understand her. I'm wondering if this is normal for her age?

My DD also uses "da da" for several different things....lol. And her verison of "all done" is "da duh".
Thanks everyone...since my older child wasn't talking at all at this age and was eventually diagnosed with a speech problem, I didn't know how clear my DD's words should be. I feel a lot better.
