we want to start thinking about names (since we have a lot of them to come up with and sift through), but DH doesn't see the point in naming the boys now, because they "might not come out in the same order". I would think they do, because they're going to grab which ever baby is lowest (A, which is one of the boys), then the next, etc. The last baby, C, is a boy too. I think there is enough of a distance between them that we could safely determine names. Even if not, we still need 2 names for 2 boys.
Please humor me with this question. I know it honestly doesn't make a wit of difference in what order they come out. There are still two boys and girl.

Re: Did your babies come out in the same order as they were in?
we named our babies before they were born and really wanted them to have the same names - so we asked our doc to let us know if he changed the order for any reason at delivery (c/s)...he told me it would be rare for that to happen- but he'd tell me.
He let me know that A came out first, etc.
Just talk to your doc.
That's what I would have done if I'd had a c/s too.
At my first 10 week u/s my OB would not assign them positions yet for some reason. It wasn't until my a/s that they really designated them "A & B" and were delivered in that order. Baby A was our little trouble maker and he was way far down sitting on my cervix (he liked to hit and kick me there!) so I don't think there was anyway for them to change spots.
ETA: We also assigned them names before they were born

While I was pregnant, they were refered to as "T1" and "T2" (thing 1 and thing 2, lovingly by my cousins..and the nicknames have stuck even 2 yrs later). That being said, we had 2 names picked out, but would not name them until my DD held them. She decided who was getting which name. So even in the delivery room during the c-section, and for a good hr-2 afterwards, they were just "baby A" and "baby B".
They arrived at 36 weeks after PTL and bedrest for 14 weeks.

This is what we did. We didn't even finalize the combo of first and middle names until we were in the hospital. I had a feeling all along about which one was going to have each name and I was right.
Think talking to your dr. is the way to go just in case. Our babies had names from the beginning but they switched the order as they took them out Our original baby B was the biggest so they took him out last and he became baby C but our doctor knew we wanted to give them specific names so he told us who was coming out A, C, B.
We had names assigned beforehand too. It's tradition for the oldest son to have his dad's name as his middle name in our families, so it was important that DS1 was A. DS1 has DH's name as his middle, and DS2 has my dad's name.
Yes. The doc took out baby A, then B, then C.
We picked three names and waited to see them to decide who fit which name.
