...because it sure as heck isn't mine! See, my tongue knows very well that it hates French dressing, and yet, today at lunch something told my tongue that French dressing would be fabulous on my salad and so I ordered it. Guess what? I loved it! Seriously?
That's not all. My tongue also knows very well that it does not enjoy cocktail sauce, at all. And yet, when my yummy Red Lobster popcorn shrimp came accompanied by the usual cocktail sauce, I finished the entire cup and half of my coworkers? This is insane!
Does anyone else find themselves craving and enjoying things they would normally dislike?
Re: Ok seriously, whose tongue is in my mouth?!
Sweets. I have never had a sweet tooth.
My biggest craving along those lines is fruit, so that is good I suppose, could be worse for me.
I think it is my body's way of getting my bowels to move
I've also had a pretty big sweet tooth (brownies, cupcakes, etc) when before I was pregnant, I didn't even like eating birthday cake on my birthday.
I did eat some jalapenos today which were surprisingly good because although I enjoy spicy food, I never liked hot peppers.

I craved tuna salad, like the premade bumble bee kind. Which I thought was very strange.
And I have been eating candy. I am not a big candy person, but I have been loving the fruit flavored mentos.
* Edited because I forgot about the candy and to also say... Thank you very much for brining up RED LOBSTER that sounds wonderful for dinner tonight.... mmm garlic cheese biscuits!
Strawberries (yeah weird I know) I absolutely LOVE now and sour cream. Hated sour cream before. Oh and ketchup I didn't mind before but now I can't have fries without it.
