Since getting your BFP, how have you adjusted your life?
For me...
I'm making a more conscious effort to eat better. I'm a habitutal meal skipper so I'm really trying to stop that. I've made a promise to myself to eat certain items every day (yogurt, milk, oj, lot sof peotein, etc).
This also means I'm drinking MORE water... and peeing ALL. THE. TIME ![]()
Re: What are you doing differently?
I am also trying to not skip meals. I take snacks with me to work instead of the usual chocolate or pretzels once every 5 minutes. I drink a lot of water to begin with so no big change there. Also I switched to decaf coffee.
Besides that I just toned down the workouts and try to not get stressed out <<this is so hard

Since i'm still not sure about the verdict on working out while pregnant, i'm trying to listen to my body more while I work out. This morning I noticed that I felt a little nausous at the end so I dialed it down a bit. Also, I've had no appetite but i've been trying to force myself to eat. I eat yogurt every morning normally and this morning I swear it was the battle of the wills to eat it and keep it down.
No beer and no wine for me! Which is difficult b/c H brews his own.
Also Greek Yogurt every morning - decaf coffee w/ a healthier cream.
Snack cracker packs through the day.
Not much else has changed - well besides I've stopped buying for myself so we can save money.
I am trying to eat smaller meals more frequently, drink more water, do less strenuous workouts, sleep, thats about it for now!
Oh yeah, I could try to do the stress less thing but I think trying to stress less will be counterproductive.
I know I know. It is a process. Same thing happened when I was pg for DD, I had a demanding job then as well.
Hey, its worth a try but it is definitely a high reaching goal for me.
I have done the same as you. I use to skip lunch all the time, but now I no longer do. I also am eating more fruits and veggies than I use to. I start everyday off with fruit, yogurt and usually toast and a glass of milk. I grew way too many cucumber in my garden this summer so have been snacking on those in between meals.
I was horrible at drinking enough throughout the day too, so now I drink lots of water!
My first
I am cutting out my almost daily deli meat sandwich. I always would either bring deli meat for lunch or grab Mr. Goodcents. Now if I want a sandwich, I am making chicken breast sandwiches or heating my deli meat up until it is steaming.
I am going to have to stand strong today because we have a big football game tonight and we always roast hot dogs before the game. I will be taking something else to eat instead of eating a hot dog.
I've had 0 appetite as well!!!
Well I'll stop drinking and I'm already trying to cut back on my caffeine which is going to be the hardest thing for me bc I loooove coffee. I plan to continue walking/running (since I don't go super far or super fast anyway) and I don't eat that much lunchmeat or fish anyway so cutting back on those things won't really affect me.
I had to start a whole new skincare regimen since I used salicylic acid products before. Even had to go buy new sunscreen without oxybenzone!
Stopped drinking...totally miss my evening glass of merlot while watching the news * sigh*.
I've always been a healthy eater and have been eating when hungry during the TWW and week 4 but this week ( week 5) I am starving but go to eat and looking at it makes me gag until late afternoon/ evening. So I have been drinking Ensure with protein.
I still workout and my doctor said this is totally fine. She also said I don't need to cut our my glass of iced coffee in the morning...thank God!
One thing I am going to miss is BLEU CHEESE...argh I LOVE IT!!!
I thought you could eat hot dogs as long as they are cooked and not raw?
And I didn't know you couldn't eat blue cheese! Boo
As far as I know you can eat hot dogs, they just have to be cooked to 160 degrees.

We started ttc iin June & I cut out caffeine at that point but was still drinking non-caffeinated sodas. Since getting our bfp, I've given up all sodas.
I've been trying to eat healthier overall and have stopped skipping breakfast. I try to drink 8 glasses of water a day, but sometimes I don't quite make it.
I still use my salicylic acid toner. Oops. And eat rare meat. And blue cheese, since it's still pasteurized. In fact, I'm going home and eating the remains of last night's dinner which featured rare steak and gorgonzola, I kid you not.
Mostly, I'm trying to eat better (on time, more veggies, etc) and drink more water. I'm not working until 7 every night or working every weekend anymore, though DH was fed up with it before we found out.
As for stress, well, hell. I can't avoid it. I just took over a third department on top of my current two. The new department is a horrible mess, and I've got to get it audit ready, and it's not like I was lacking work with my other two - it's just how it's all come together. That's all stressful enough - I wanted to take it on, and I'll be reclassed as soon as I am eligible again - but then there's the whole obstetric history thing. We only just passed Gabriel's birth/death anniversary and that is making everything harder to deal with.
Mostly I'm trying not to have a total breakdown right now, but I don't think it's much different than 2 weeks ago.

My Blog
I've been eating better. More fruits & veggies and I switched to organic. I've cut back on caffeine(drinking less than 100mg a day now) and started drinking much more water. Other than that not much has changed. Trying to sleep when I can!
Yeah this is pretty much me. I still use my toner with SA in it. I still eat my eat pretty rare. And I still eat soft cheese. I am just careful about who is preparing my steak and where I'm getting the cheese.
