Simply because my dad tried to get my mom to name my brother and I these names. She wouldn't be cause of the nick names we would have gotten with my maiden name and all... Even since then he tried to name all my dolls Nic(h)ole. I am sure he is going to try and get me to name my kids these names.
Well this one just goes without saying.
That name makes me seriously nauseated. Ick.

Darian or Darien. Hate it.
My sister almost named my nephew Darian. If it wasn't for my Mother's constant input about how she hated the name (in a round about, like some mothers do, way), then I'm sure my sister would have went with it. I kept my mouth shut but my Mom has never learned that form of etiquette. (Maybe that's a good thing?). My sister ended up with Dominic. Not my favourite but still, better then Darian.

Dear god - there are so many to choose from! I have to go with one generalization. NO name after a vehicle - Bentley, Ford, the many variations of Porsche(a) (Portia), Mercedes, etc.
I can't help but be intrigued by this. I'm guessing this comment pertains to a specific Kristin? While I have known my share of whorish Kristin's I have met some that are not so whorish as well.

The main reason is that I taught piano to a boy named Mason and every lesson was the worst 30 minutes of my week. The kid didn't pay attention, he was crude, rude, annoying, and just plain irritating. Luckily, when I asked the mother whether she really wanted him to continue in lessons, she had the decency to recognize that he was not at all interested in piano and she agreed with me that she was wasting money to continue.
Okay, this is my name, and I totally agree with you. I am the only Casey I know who is a female and people are always confused. My mom told me she almost named me Shawn, but my dad wouldn't have it. Between the two, glad she went with Casey!
Also, my husband's side has some weird names. He has a lot of male Kim's and also some Tunis's.
It is specifically due to one individual. Who just so happens to be a whore. BUT I was born in 1980 and it was a pretty popular name then. I went to a small HS (800 kids total), and I swear every Kristin I went to school with put out. A lot.
In all fairness, as an adult, this theory has been proven wrong. But I still could never name my child Kristin.
LMAO! The only two Kristen's I know are beautiful, sweet and definitely not whores. They must be a story here!
I'm not sure there are too many names left that aren't unisex...or at least that people aren't making unisex. A friend of mine just married a woman named Michael and a colleague's name is Benjamyn (woman). Then, there is Parker, Hunter, Tyler...you get my point.

One of my girlfriends got KU at 14 by a boy named Jesse. His last name and my married last name are the same (no relation).
On the way to the hospital DH actually suggested this name instead of Jack. He didn't know about my friend but it was just odd that he came up with it out of the blue.

BFP on Cycle 17 09/27/12. EDD 06/04/12! Please Stick Baby! A/S 01/22/13 Baby looking great. Officially TEAM BLUE! Jack is getting a Baby Brother! RCS scheduled for 05/29/13. William Daryll born at 9:59am on 05/29/13. Left ovary and tube removed due to peach sized tumor found during RCS. Pathology came back benign!
