How many weeks along were you when you graduated? I'm sure it varies by RE practice, but I'm trying to figure out what to expect. Also, did you wait until the official okay from your RE to make an appointment with your OB? I know when I call for my annual appointment it always takes a few weeks before I can see him so I was wondering if I should call now. Although, I do think they hold on to some time slots for pre-natal appointments.

I don't believe that God ever tells us "no". he has three options. Yes, not right now, or I have something better in mind. We just have to wait & see.
I graduated at about 8 weeks, after an u/s showed a HB and everything looking good.My RE recommended that I wait until after that u/s to make my OB appointment, but my OB was able to fit me in the next week. If you have a longer wait time, I think you're still considered under the care of your RE if anything comes up.
After 2 1/2 years TTC, 3 IUI's, endo, and a lap, a surprise BFP brought us Alexandra Marie!
Started TTC 05.08
Me: Stage II endo, borderline high FSH
DH: perfect
1 lap, 5 IUIs = 4 BFNs and 1 c/p
2 IVFs, 2 FETs = 1 BFN, 1 c/p, 1 ectopic and finally a sticky BFP in May 2011!
1 FET in Aug 2013 = BFP!
My last appt at the RE was at 8w1d and the released me that day (saw the heartbeat, everything looked good). I had my first appt with the OB at 11w1d.

I graduated at 9 1/2 weeks.
I called my OB about 2 weeks before I graduated to make the appointment and I was glad I did because he was full until the end of the month. If I didn't get in when I did, I would've missed my NT Scan.

i had appts with my RE at:
5w4d, 6w4d, 7w4d
At the last appt, he told me to make an appt with my OB, and he was releasing me. i called my OB that day and they made my appt for, i think, around 10 weeks.
pretty sure OB practices will get you in based on your gestational age, not around their availability. for example, when i would need to go in for my annual, it could take 2 months to get an appt. but they must leave opening for pregnancies, b/c i was able to get for my pregnancy around 9 or 10 weeks GA.
I graduated at 12 weeks but RE wanted me to see OB at 10 weeks so we can transition smoothly. I explained to OB and they were able to accommodate. Also, I think PCPs and OBs usually only open up certain slots for annual checkups, that's why we have to wait forever for that. If you go because you are pregnant they should be able to take you pretty quickly.

My RE let me go at 8 weeks ish..it was a weird transition for me, but I made my appointment after the NP released me (at 7 weeks) before my RE. My first OB appointment was at 10 1/2 weeks.
I graduated at 9w1d ... I had a u/s at 8w6d and stopped PIO that night. Went in on 9w1d for a blood test and graduated later that day. I went to see my OB at 9w0d (it was a busy week)!
