What about when her water broke? Its crazy when she showered and was putting her make up on...I hope to be as calm cool and collective as her when my time comes!

I feel like birth isn't what you expect it to be.  You watch movies and you see someones water break and people scatter in every direction and rush to the hospital.  At the hospital the woman is cursing out her husband in between pushing/contractions and the delivery room is complete chaos!

I didn't find it to be like that at all!  It really is just an amazing, wonderful experience.  Oh...and the epidural hels a ton too!

LOL.  My water broke at home as well with my first pregnancy.  I was the exact same way.  Took a shower, threw on a little powder, then headed out to the hospital.
