sex after spotting?

Would you have sex after spotting? Does anyone know if it increases the risk of anything?

I called my doc about spotting because I was worried and she said not to until I saw her but it ended up just being a one day thing and hasn't happened again.

And I don't mean right after...say you spotted one day last week.

Mine has said none until we get the OK from them. This also has something to do with my retroverted uterus and sex discouraging it to 'pop' out from behind my pubic bone. But even before I was told this I was told no sex for now.

I would follow the directions and skip sex for now. Whenever I have had any bleeding, they always say no sex. pelvic rest.
