bday party at a local bounce house - party time is 1:30-3:30. The normal drill is 1 hr 15 minutes of bouncing - 45 minutes in party room.
1. would you expect to be fed an actual meal (at 2:45)? Or is cake and ice cream ok?
2. do you think it looks "cheap" to not serve lunch? admittedly I AM trying to cut costs b/c I feel like these bday parties add up so fast. If I can save $100 on pizza (by having it at this time, which I guess is partially dependent on people's answers to question #1), I will!
Re: s/o bday party timing
Agree!
Kelly Monaghan's 5K - 5/15/11 - 3rd Place in AG
Walk the Talk 5K - 5/18/11 - 31:12 PR
Ridley Run 3.1 - 4/14/12 - 1st race of the year, 32:45
1. No.
2. No.
DS1 is having a bounce house party also. However the only time I could get was 4:30pm = 545pm for the party, so we will be having pizza. If I could have gotten an earlier time, I wouldn't be serving pizza and wouldn't have a second thought.
I think cake and ice cream are fine. We had DD's party at Gymboree last year from 2:30-4 and I wasn't sure what to do about the food either. We ended up just doing cake, and I don't think anyone cared.
we just had ds party at a bounce house and did not serve a meal. only had cake and ice cream
