Did you register for China? Yes
Did you get the China you wanted? Yes. We are still missing some pieces, but have been adding on when we can get a good deal on it.
Do you use your China? No, but I plan to when we are in a bigger place and start to have people over for dinner.
Where do you store said china? We have a small china cabinet that we keep it in.
Can you still fit in your wedding dress? (maybe not pregnant, but before?) It would probably be a little big. I got pregnant with DS on our honeymoon and then lost 10 lbs after giving birth and have not gained it back yet (Thanks to breastfeeding).

No china. I didn't see the point in it. I am an only child. And the only girl grandchild. Both of my grandmothers and my mother have china. I am going to accumulate a lllllllot of it eventually. Plus we have no where to put it, hence to answer the question about where I would store it. That would have been in a box in the basement.
The dress. Hmmm...I don't know. I would say that before I got pregnant I could probably still fit in it, but that it would be snug.

I'm not sure, but I'd say yep since I haven't changed in size since then. I mught show more boob, since they are growing but other than that I'd say yep. It is in the closet and has been there since it was cleaned.
This is us too, we only got 4 sets of 5 piece dinner ware. Where have you found good deals? Ebay? I really want to add to our collection over the next few years and by the time we purchase a house, I want to have a nice and fancy way to show it off.
My great gran has a beautiful china hutch that she gifted to me when she passes away (she's 95) so I would get it. Because she knows how much I love it.
Did you register for China? No. We registered for regular glass plates and bowls. My grandma has probably 10 sets of china with full service for 16. She told me that when we had the space (we were living in an apartment when we got married and moved into a house in February) we could come to her house and pick out a set. I'm really excited to do that, and to have a set of my grandma's china
Did you get the China you wanted? Not yet, but since I'm the first grandkid to be told this, I'll have my pick of the sets.
Do you use your China? We will probably not use it for regular dinnerware, but for special occasions.

Can you still fit in your wedding dress? (maybe not pregnant, but before?) Yes! It doesn't look quite as good as it did then, I was maybe 3-4 lbs lighter then, but it definitely fits.
We registered at Macy's and they had some coupons for household items, I can't remember how much off but I know it was a good bit. So we took advantage of that, plus every now and then going directly through the Lenox website has gotten us some deals.
Did you register for China? Yes because of DH's job there's a good chance we'll be hosting some fancy dinner parties in the future.
Did you get the China you wanted? Yes. Last Christmas my mom bought the couple pieces we were lacking.

Nope to registering for China. Mom said if I really want some I could have theirs since she doesn't use it, and I got a big set from my Grandma when she passed away. I don't have room for any more dishes.
Grandma's set is in a closet upstairs since we don't have room in our townhouse for a hutch to display it. Maybe one day.
Fit into my dress? Between hormone problems and fertility treatments I doubt it.

Did you get the China you wanted? We only got a few sets so we returned the expensive china and bought a full set of gorgeous China at an auction house for about the price of one set we'd originally registered for.
Do you use your China? Yes, quite a bit. We bring most of the pieces out for Thanksgiving and Christmas and then I bring out the tea cups sometimes when I have company.
Where do you store said china? We bought a 1924 craftsman house, the front room has a beautiful buffet and leaded glass china cupboards so they are on display.

We didn't register for china and we don't own any as of today. Within 6 months of the wedding I am sure that I could no longer fit into my wedding dress!

I think so! I was almost the exact same size (maybe a little smaller) before my BFP as my wedding day!
Did you register for China? Nope! I didn't really see any point in getting it now when we really wouldn't be using it for another 15-20 years. We'll pick some out and get it later down the line. Plus, coming right out of college we needed other things for our home than china.

Did you get the China you wanted? Yes - we got most of it and bought the pieces we didn't get.
Do you use your China? Occasionally. It's not our everyday dinnerware, but we use it on special occasions or when everything else is dirty.

Did you register for China? Yes. We also registered for everyday dinner plates. Honestly, I really love the everyday stuff and wish we had enough settings to use it when everyone is over.
Did you get the China you wanted? most of it. We are missing one place setting - but have enough to serve 11. We have all of the everyday stuff.
Do you use your China? On holidays and other special occassions where we have people over. H's family is more "formal" than mine, so we almost always use it when they come over for dinner. It's dishwasher safe, so it's no big deal to pull it out.
Where do you store said china? For a long time it was in a plastic bin in the basement, but we finally found a china cabinet to match our DR table a few months ago, so now it's in there.

Exactly what I was going to post. My mother and grandmother both have china that they will pass my way one day. I'm not so sure I even want it. I think it's impractical.
We got the Maison pattern of dishes from Crate and Barrel because it's so popular that I know they will never stop carrying it.

ETA: I forgot to address the dress question! I have started cutting it up to use the fabric for various projects, but if the dress were still intact, I believe it would be just a little too big on me (even now that I'm pregnant).
