grab a sodie, this story ain't short.
All three stuck.
(I'll give you a moment, because I need one too. Feast or famine in that ute, I tell ya)
HOWEVER... it was a long and very confusing hour of comedy and errors with that ute wand, lemme tell ya. I had my fav nurse doing it, so we had a hard time not laughing and crying and what not.
The deets go like this:
Baby A - one clear-as-day beautiful sac right where it should be, with one beautiful lil' cricket inside. Measuring RIGHT on track at 6w5d, with an AMAZING heartbeat of 122. I LITERALLY could not be more happy with those numbers. Just OVER THE MOON, right there.
I really didn't see any other sacs, so I'm kinda mentally processing the fact it IS one, and I'll deal with the emotions of that later. Then she says "lemme go look at THOSE OTHER ONES NOW!"
Another moment, take it. I need it.
I THOUGHT she was looking at something "below" Baby A, ends up she was right NEXT to Baby A.... like, I didn't even see what she was doing, really. Ends up there's a smaller but still defined sac right next to A, (but separate) with a bump and a flicker. She measures that bugger at 5w5d, HB of 100. The thing is... it was located in a weird place, the machine was being turdy, and she complained left and right how she could not get a good angle to measure it right AND I had to hold my breath for about 10 minutes just to get that HB picked up. So it's either REALLY snuggled in there funny, or it's... well... This is all very similar to my last FET with those twins, and we all know how that turned out. BUT my numbers were a bit stronger than a singleton this time, AND these were chilly with two lagging behind a rock star leader. So.. who knows. Sassy gives Baby B a 50/50 chance, and my mind has to agree with that. HOWEVER... I'll be fecking damned if I'm giving up at THIS stage of the game, so I"m hoping like chit for that bugger to pull up and get on this train. (I can't, and I won't and I don't stop. Especially NOWWWW!!!)
Whew. Let's continue, lol.....
So Baby C was back down "below" the others, and appears to look just like Baby B, (in size, etc) but there's no heartbeat. We suspect that will fizzle out, but you know, this is The Fecking Crazy Train, anything can happen, I say. She says the other office has a much better u/s machine (WTF?) and blames "it's so early, and so tiny, I just cannot get a good look on either of those two little ones."
So yeah.
I have a VERY odd sense of peace right now. I took a breath for the first time in several MONTHS. I'm going to do my best and believe that Baby A is going to continue to rock it out, and hope that the little "backup singers" do their thing too.
Follow up u/s in a week, please nothing on FB,
and scene.

Ah, thank you. We have the NICEST lurkers around here! You're both more than welcome to post and ask questions, we don't bite! My best to your sister, if she learns ANYTHING from us ol' hags around here it's that we are some FIERCE MOTHER TIGERS and we always get what we want. (just might not be the way we think we're going to get it!)
