What are you doing for bras?

So far I have been wearing wireless bras and sport bras and haven't been the most comfortable. So, I found this chart to see what size I really am measuring at now.
I encourage you ladies to check it out too, and I'm curious to see if you were surprised at what you saw too. Before, I was a 32D, now this says I'm a 32DDD or 32F. That sounds so much larger than I feel I look.

Step 1: To measure for the band, measure under your breast and add a 4 if the number is even and a 5 if the number is odd. This is your band size.
Step 2: to measure your cup size, measure your breast around your body at the fullest part.
Subtract your band measurement (step 1) from your cup measurement (step 2) and this gives you your bra size.

So, do you buy bras the exact measurement of your band size, because then I wouldn't be able to find bras that small. Also, do you buy specialty bras of just normal ones you can find at a department store? I'm just curios where to find bras that would fit me using these measurements.
I know when I have bought bras at Victoria's Secret and I had them measure me to to make sure I haven't changed or what not that they always say they added 4 to my band size to get my proper band size.

Band Size
Wear a non-padded bra and use a soft tape measure. Hold the tape measure around your back at band level. Then bring it to the front, just above your bust.
The resulting number is your band size.
Hint: If the number is odd, round down to the closest even number.
I'd been wearing VS 36C (uncomfortably) for years when I finally got professionally fitted by an ancient grannie at a gem of a bra shop in my neighborhood. By "professionally" I mean that she eyeballed me fully clothed, and then thrust a bra at me that fit like a dream and made my boobs so perky. Turned out that I was actually a 32E!
My boobs have definitely grown already, so I just ordered one 32F from Amazon in a style I already own. This is going to get ridiculous...
ETA: I'm 31" around below the boob.
That is really interesting, I measured both ways and got the same number so it must work for me but maybe it won't for all sizes. Good to know though!
this is actually correct. adding inches to the band size is the result of an old practice prior to Warner's addition of elastic to the band in the 1930s or so, and was done to allow for the fluctuations in weight during a woman's monthly cycle. measuring and adding inches perpetuates the practice that "80% of women are wearing the wrong size" and allows our very different bodies to be lumped into the conveniences of the manufacturers- so they don't have to make so many different sizes. as your cup size goes up, you will need more band support, and wearing a band that is too large (while wearing a "sister" cup size) will not be good for your girlies, your back, or your silhouette. this is particularly true for ladies with small frames, ie < 32 inches. my true size is a 30E, yet i'm stuck wearing a 34C due to the stupid practices of bra companies! which is fine for now, but once they jump to a 30H (like last time around), it's not going to be so pretty.
