We discussed that we want as much testing as possible this time. We don't want to worry about cost, we will figure it out some how, we just need answers. After going through our family history and looking at an u/s, the doctor believes that this could be an X chromosome genetic mutation. In other words, we may never be able to have boys. That is a best case scenario. Worst case is, we will never have a healthy pregnancy. I was not able to have my amnio becase the membranes had not fused (not big enough yet). I go back next Tuesday to have it done. Although we got no real answers, I feel very good about the plan we decided on. After studying our family histroy and comparing both babies they now have an idea of what to est for. Even though we won't have all our answers for 4-6 weeks, we are hopeful we may find some answers this time. Thank you to everyone for your T&P for this appointment.

I am sorry that it was not as reassuring as we had all hoped and that you are left waiting still. I hope that they can give you answers and a plan to provide you with your take-home-baby. I still pray that this pregnancy will have a positive outcome. Big hugs.

Abbs, I just saw your thread on TTCAL and I'm so very sorry you've gotten bad news about your current pregnancy. All sorts of hugs headed your way both now and as you move forward.
