Deal on Nursing Covers & Slings

I received an email from What to Expect When You are Expecting giving a promo code for a free nursing cover from Udder Covers and a free sling from Seven Slings.

The code is WTE.

I ordered the cover and paid $10 for S&H but am not sure about the sling. Has anyone heard anything about these slings - either good or bad?

This promo has been going on forever. I don't know about the sling. IMO I don't like slings, I am using a moby and baby Bjorn.

They honestly have this deal all-the-time.

I think the undercover is nice enough, though I probably wouldn't pay more for it than I paid for shipping. I haven't used it yet, but I'm not loving the sling, I'd skip it.

Definitely skip on the sling. It's really cheaply made and I'd actually be nervous putting a baby in it in case the seams rip, that's how cheap it is.

I have 2 of their slings from DS. They are pretty simple, but they do work. I haven't had a seam rip or anything. I would keep one in the diaper bag and one in the car for quick trips. I wouldn't recommend wearing them for long periods of time, but quick trips into the drug store/bank etc, when I didn't feel like lugging the car seat around, it worked well. As far as the udder cover, I liked my peanut shell one much better - it would stay open better so I could see DS and it adjusted much easier.
