So on July 27, I totally spaced and forgot to take 2 month pictures of DD. I tried not to be too upset with myself and decided I'd at least take pictures of her at 3 months.
Well I forgot! And she's asleep for the night, so I can't do them now. 
So much for creating a banner of month-by-month pictures for her first birthday party.

It hardly makes you a "terrible mom." If anything it makes you a better mom because you are so busy taking care of her and stuff that you just don't have time.

Yeah, I realize that "terrible mother" is a bit extreme, but it really is pretty spacey of me. I'm a photographer's daughter; how am I forgetting to document meaningless milestones? Haha.

My mom did a bunch of pictures of her when she babysat a week ago (including the one in my siggy), so I guess those could technically be 3 month pictures?

It is. Haha. My mom's a professional wedding and portrait photographer in my hometown.

We took our two month photos a day late.
Worse, I somehow lost those month onesie stickers after the first month. And can't justify buying a second set. I still feel really bad about that.
I never bought any of the onesie stickers. They're cute, but I decided to just dress her in a favourite outfit in whatever size she was wearing when I took the pictures. She outgrows them so quickly!

And I guess a month is kind of a random unit of time anyway, right? Some babies turn a month old before others. I'll just tell my baby Scarlett O'Hara that "tomorrow is another day!"

i haven't taken any professional pictures yet so i must be the worst mother ever! DH has a nikon camera so i've been taking pictures myself but nothing fancy. i do regret not having newborn pictures taken but nothing i can do about that now. i'm hoping to get some done this week.... finally.

I feel like a terrible mom. I somehow lost the battery charger for my camera, so I haven't been able to take any pictures of Silas since he turned 3 months.
I took 2 month pictures on time and then retook them 2-3 days later b/c he looked like such a crab in all of them.
His 3 month ones were late b/c I was lame about making his 3 onsie.
