I have a vent and question...I'm pretty sure I O'd on Aug 22nd but I've had a fever since the 25th. My vent is that my fever is making me not be able to track my 2WW very accurately (not to mention I feel like shiit).
My question: I've googled and found nothing conclusive about having a fever and implantation (provided the 20% chance that I have a fertilized egg), give it to me straight...what could a fever do to implantation? I know that a fever in early pg isn't the greatest but I couldn't find anything conclusive about implantation. TIA!
ETA: I should add that I've been tested for strept which was neg and I'm calling my primary doc tomorrow

I've got another question... (glad these are flame-free!) This is my first cycle really paying attention to CM. I feel like I don't have very much, and if I ever do have some, I'm kind of hesitant to chart it because I really don't know if it "counts," since it's not much and I can't really tell which kind from which. Should it be obvious? Should I check internally instead of on TP? Any advice welcome. (Thanks for the playdate!)

I would check internally each time before you use the bathroom. Always mark the most fertile you see that day

What are the chances of getting two days of positive OPKs after ovulation? I'm disagreeing with FF right now about my O date. The two days after FF says I Oed the OPKs turned darker than the control line immediately. The day FF says I Oed I got a positive OPK but it took a minute.
So I've been playing it positive all weekend while inside I can't stand my job. It is wrong of me to add time off work as a reason for getting pregnant?
If its wrong, I'm right there with you!
Ditto. I'm up in the air about working afterwards... I asked this question months back and someone made it super simple for me... would I still want to TTC if I had to keep working afterwards. My answer was obviously yes, so it wasn't that I was TTC to stop work, more so just a possible benefit of having a LO depending on our siutation when it happens. It helped me to stop feeling guilty and confirm what I already knew, that I REALLY want to have a LO with DH.
TTC #1 since January 2011

It is possible and it happens. Your CHs could move..and that open circle 1DPO isn't helping either.

Ditto what pp said about checking internally. I would never see any CM if I only checked on the TP. I don't check every time I use the bathroom though, just once in the morning.
When should I ask my doctor to check for low progestrone? My LP is on the short side of normal. I know some people say that I am probably fine, but I would rather be safe than sorry. If I ask now, after only 5 cycles, would they even run the tests?
This is our 1st month TTC (since DD- and we really didn't ever have to try then- it happened our 1st go round). I have not charted at all, since we're just getting started, but I have always had a 27-29 day cycle. My last CD1 was 7/29, which means AF should have showed up sometime Thursday-Saturday. NO signs of AF at all... I usually have cramps, bloating a day prior, but getting BFN's on HPT still. How long should I wait before calling OB?

I'm not sure that anyone here would be able to answer that. I think you're just going to have to wait and see. GL!

Actually the day it says I Oed was an abnormally low temp for me. So do you agree with FF on my O date? Sorry to make you look again. Thanks in advance. ETA: the open circle 1 dpo is because I marked sleep deprived.

I would wait at least a few more cycles. I can only see a few of your charts, and they have LPs of 10 and 11 days. That *should* be fine.

The general rule of thumb is to test once a week until you get AF or you hit CD 60. Did you recently come off of hormonal birth control?
I'll go....I have been off BCP since January. I have never had mid-cycle spotting before (on BCP or off). However, the last 2 days I have had spotting after intercourse that has continued quite a while. The spotting presents as brownish-pink mixed with my CM. This cycle was induced by Provera. I am not sure whether to think I am ovulating, have some sort of problem, or it is related to taking Provera. Anyone else have experience with post-coital bleeding?

Thanks! No, never been on BC. Hopefully, AF shows or I get BFP soon. I just don't like being in limbo.

It could be spotting due to irritation after sex since you said that is when it starts. There is no "never or always" in the game of TTC. Our bodies do their own thing on their own time...

It's definitely the sex irritating things. I'm just not sure if I should worry about some sort of infection or problem causing the irritation or if others have had occasional flukes like this with no underlying problem. Also, a little part of me is hopeful that it might be a sign I'm finally going to ovulate this month!

When, if ever, is pre-AF spotting a cause for concern? This is my third cycle TTC, and I have spotted before AF all three times (due to start AF tomorrow or Tuesday; all signs point to not pregnant). First LP was 11 days, with spotting at 9DPO-11DPO. Second LP was 13 days, with spotting at 12DPO and 13DPO. I don't know how long this LP will be (probably either 12 or 13 days), but I've been spotting since 9DPO. It's always brownish spotting, and very light (only a couple of times a day) until the day before AF shows up; then it gets more pinkish/reddish. I thought I had read somewhere that spotting before AF can indicate low progesterone, but I can't really remember the details on that.
Any information/insight is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I get this from time to time, too. Usually when the sex was on the aggressive side. As long as it's just a bit of blood, and only after intercourse, I wouldn't worry too much.
