I'm so worried I'm forgetting something

I'm a SAHM, so I've had ample time to prepare for LO's arrival. But I feel like I don't have everything I need. I'm having a RCS on 10-18, unless he comes sooner, thats only 7 weeks (or less) from when there will be a baby in the house and I don't have a support system here so its not like if I forgot something I could ask my mom or someone to run out and grab it. Is there a list on TB somewhere that I could use to prepare? I've looked at the registry lists but I know that you don't need everything they say you need, right away. Can you bumpies recommend what you think I need or the things that you couldn't live without for previous LOs? TIA!

  • I found some tools on TB that has checklists for every category you can think of. I put the link below. I'm a FTM so I don't have any suggestions for what you MUST have. The most important thing I've heard is that if you live on a multi-level home, put diapers, wipes, changing pad, and diaper cream on every level. Oh, and burp cloths. This way you're not trekking up and down the steps every time you need to change a diaper! Good luck and I hope this helps!

The things we needed right away: pack n play [we used it as a bassinet], extra sheets and mattress pads, swaddle blankets, burp cloths, sleepers, diapers, wipes, bouncy seat [i used it to put the baby in while i showered or while we ate dinner], boppy.

People have asked me "Did you really mean to put a quantity of 4 for the diaper cream?"
Yes! baby's room is upstairs, pack and play on the middle level where our living room is, our room is downstairs from there and then there's the diaper bag!
